Craigslist Killed the Video Star

My thoughts on how some people are abusing Craigslist and hurting the video production industry. I'll keep the typing short because I pretty much say it all in the video. Enjoy!

  1. A local company saw a video of mine online from a partner of theres. They offered me an interview for a new position at there company where i would make product videos. Now the company sells custom parts for cars and what not. They have their own studio and take their own pictures, and produce a 300 page magazine 2 times a year. But they where looking for a Video Production Artist like myself. They wanted to know what would make a good video production, names of cameras, equipment to have etc.. I told them my personal opinion of what type of things to get and how I would shoot a production. The interview ended I though I got the job they where very impressed. 3 weeks later they posted in the same paper looking for a videographer who knows how to use all the equipment I've talked about. So the company stoled my ideas and reposted the job as an unpaid intern ship. So I guess the moral of the story for me is don't share your ideas cause an Idea can last forever. Oh and companies are dicks.
